Welcome to Coccinellidae.net
This site aims to be several things to several people:

We hope to provide good information about the species of ladybirds that are found in (Western-) Europe.

We also want to build a reference photo-library for those species, with your help.

For each species we discuss, we try to gather as many site-links directly to the pages about that species on some of the best websites in our part of the world. Thus forming a portal of reference links.

We provide a personal photo-album for all of you who contribute your pictures to this site.

And lastly we would like to be the meeting place for all enthusiasts for discussion and contribution.

You can add comments on virtually all pages, so if you have a contribution to make about a specific species, the best place to add it is at the page for that species.
