Bryony ladybird

[Morphology] 6 - 8 mm. Rounded and with strongly arched elytra.
Twelve small spots that are evenly distributed along the shields.


[Ecology] Phytophague
Eats plants from cucurbitaceae (the cucumber family) like bryonia dioica.

Adults eat the leaves, leaving only the veins,
whilst larvae only take the uppermost layer of the leaf in such a way that a lace like material remains.


[Distribution] Seeming to extend it's distribution to the North
