[Morphology] 3 - 4 mm. 3-4 mm. Elytra with tiny hairs (magnify) It has no or a variable number of irregular spots.
Looks quite similar to the 24-spot Subcoccinella vigintiquatuorpunctata but it's head is black, not red.
The teeth marks are a tell-tale sign of it's presence

[Ecology] Wet grassy plains, regularly overflowed areas along the large rivers. On phalaris, glyceria
[Distribution] Rare but maybe overlooked because of it's simularity with Subcoccinella vigintiquatuorpunctata
