Hieroglyphic ladybird

[Morphology] 3.5 - 4.5 mm. Easily recognizable ladybird with distinct pattern. However many melanistic individuals are found. May be confused with Adalia conglomerata that is even rarer.

[Distribution] Rare but seemingly more common in years that it's main food source Lochmea suturalis is abundant^A)
