[Morphology] Small elongated beetle very much like Coccidula rufa, but more reddish or orangey brown, not ruby.It often has distinct median spots posterolater spots. The pronotum seen from directly above is widest below the middle.[Ecology] Reed, rush, reed mace [Distribution] Not often reported but locally abundant.
