Heather ladybird

[Morphology] 2 - 4 mm. Very round and with distinct rim around the elytra. Dark brown to black a linear red stripe often divided in two spots running across each elytron.
More brownish black and smaller than Chilocorus renipustulatus
[Ecology] Dry heather with some trees
[Distribution] Very rare, locally in suited habitat more common.
