Larch ladybird

[Morphology] 3.5 - 5 mm. Brown, evenly coloured or with 2 or 4 black smear like spots. Slightly elongated ladybird with parallel sides. Distinct M-shape on the pronotum. Darker forms sometimes seem to have light spots.
Unspotted beetles are almost always malesG), darker ones females.

Unlike other ladybirds it has good camouflage that it seems to rely on as its behaviour is sooner passive.
