Ten spot ladybird

[Morphology] 3.5 - 5 mm. Small to medium sized ladybird that comes in many variations. It never has black legs, like the two-spot. The cat-paw pattern on the pronotum is typical and this species also often has a dent at the back of the elytra. It is smaller than Harmonia axyridis
Typical spot pattern: 1-3-2
[Ecology] Deciduous woodland but also on shrubs, sometimes on herbs
[Distribution] Very common.
